Kerala: Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple reopens for the Chithira Aattathirunal festival
The Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district reopened today for the Chithira Aattathirunal festival. The devotees will be allowed only on the basis of the virtual booking system.
They either have to produce their double dose vaccination certificate or an RT-PCR negative certificate before entering the temple.

The temple will be open for the two-month long Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season starting from 15th of November.
On Saturday, Kerala Devaswom Minister K. Radhakrishnan said that all arrangements for the annual Sabarimala pilgrimage would be completed in a time-bound manner.
