Secretary of Information and Broadcasting Ministry Apoorva Chandra today said that films play an important role in promoting tourism and it attracts a lot of people.

Addressing at the Symposium on Film Tourism in Mumbai, Mr. Chandra also said that film makers need support from state governments and hence they play a very important role in it.

The symposium has been organized by the Ministry of Tourism in association with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
