Maharashtra: Devendra Fadnavis alleges Minister Nawab Malik associated with fraudulent transactions
Leader of opposition in the legislative assembly of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis has alleged that Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik was associated with fraudulent transactions including a land deal at Kurla in Mumbai and the deal was done between the company owned by relatives of Nawab Malik and two persons from Mumbai underworld including a convict of Mumbai Bomb Blast case.
Speaking in a press conference in Mumbai Devendra Fadnavis said Sardar Shahvali Khan was convicted in 1993 Mumbai Bomb Blast case and another person Salim Patel was working as a driver and bodyguard of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena parkar and he was holding the power of attorney for the properties owned by Haseena Parkar.
Around 2.8 acre of land on LBS road at Kurla was sold in 2005 on behalf of these two persons to Solidus Investment Private Ltd which is owned by relatives of Nawab Malik.
He added that Nawab Malik himself was associated with the company and worked as a director of the company for some time. Devendra Fadnavis has raised question about the intention of the deal of a very costly land at a prime location at a throwaway price with two associates of underworld gangsters.
He said that there are total five such transactions out of which at least four deals are associated with the underworld. He asked the question to Nawab Malik, why did you do business with Killers of Mumbai.
Fadnavis said that he will submit all the evidences of these deals for detailed probe to the concerned competent authorities as well as to NCP Chief Sharad Pawar.
