Fog cover in Delhi; The Air Quality Index has hit the ‘extreme mark’
The air quality in the national capital is presently in the severe category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the overall Air Quality Index of the national capital was recorded 459 at 10 A.M. today.
An Air Quality Index between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 to 300 poor, 301 to 400 very poor, and 401 to 500 severe.
A thick layer of smog was also witnessed in the morning due to which visibility was dropped.
