Institution Innovation Council (IIC) and AU Incubation Center conducted a workshop on the topic “Awaken the Entrepreneur in you” to inculcate the spirit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the minds of young students at the Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Andhra University on 12th Nov 2021.
Prof. Hanumanthu Purushotham, President of IIC welcomed the Chief Guest and the participants and explained how IIC can help the students who wanted to test their innovative ideas and ultimately taking their ideas to market through incubation and various government support services available now to students to realise their entrepreneurial dreams.
He said it is the best time for entrepreneurship in our country and even the best students from premier institutions are opting for entrepreneurship. Prof V Krishna Mohan the chief guest of the function addressed the students on the AU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Ecosystem being built and how the students should take advantage of the benefits and access to the Startup Ecosystem in helping students come up with successful business Ideas.
Ravi Eswarapu, CEO, AU Incubation spoke on the how to start-up, the qualities of a successful entrepreneur, and the support system created in the Andhra University Incubation Center to help students purse their entrepreneurial dream.
GITA platform coordinator Mr. Vineel and Student Startup Aquafarm Co-founder Mr. Satwik spoke to the students on Do’s and Don’ts in starting up. Ms. Valli, Ms. Chandana, Mr. Naveen, Mr. Hemanth & Mr. Hareesh from AU Incubation team along with the DCMS Management Club coordinated the event.
