Portals of Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand to be closed today for winter season
Portals of Badrinath temple will be closed for the winter season today. Media in-charge of Devasthanam Board Harish Gaur said that five lakh devotees visited Chardham this year.
Portals of Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham have already been closed for the winter season.
Closing of portals of Char Dham shrines for the winter break is an annual exercise that takes place around November, when the hills remain snowbound.
