This is our Tirumala condition. The Tirumala Anandanilayam started with a torrential downpour like never before and was flooded.
The Tirumala Ghat road was almost completely destroyed.
They looked like flood waterfalls flowing down the hill. This led to floods in Tirupati. Devotees were in dire straits.
Devotees want the authorities to take permanent measures so that this situation is not repeated.
These are #SrivariMetlu, the steps that pedestrians climb to go from #Tirupati to #Tirumala; heavy rains have damaged several portions & it is precarious; so both walkways to temple have been closed as of now @ndtv @ndtvindia #SharingThread with more videos #AndhraPradeshRains pic.twitter.com/Jr2E7SgqNP

Heavy rains creates havoc in Tirupati.
TTD had earlier shut two pedestrian routes to the Venkateswara temple in Tirumala for two days (November 17 and 18) in view of the heavy rain alert.
Postpone if you have plans to visit Tirupati

This video is being circulated as Tirumala Ghat roads damaged by heavy rains. This is not Tirumala. In facts rains have subdued and the authorities are completely in control of the situation. #ttd #tirumalahills #TirupatiRains #tirupatifloods pic.twitter.com/zdln1yWJDy
