Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to reshuffle his cabinet today
Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot will reshuffle his cabinet today. The oath-taking ceremony will take place at Raj Bhawan in Jaipur at 4 pm. While 11 MLAs will be sworn in as cabinet ministers, four will be sworn in as ministers of state. Three ministers will be promoted as cabinet ministers.
A Pradesh Congress Committee meeting will be held at 2 pm today and further directions will be issued there. Ahead of the Cabinet reshuffle, all ministers in Gehlot Cabinet tendered their resignations yesterday. AIR correspondent reports,
The first cabinet reshuffle of the third term of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is taking place this evening. Cabinet expansion was discussed several times for the last almost one year, but it has been postponed every time.

Eight new faces are going to be inducted as cabinet ministers as per the list of ministers released by the Chief Minister’s Office.
Three ministers of state will be promoted as cabinet ministers. Four MLAs will take oath as minister of state.
Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena are again getting a berth in the state cabinet. Both were sacked from the cabinet last year along with Sachin Pilot after adopting a revolt stand against the government. Women, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe legislators have been given priority in the list of ministers.
