Hyderabad: Children paint their vision of an energy-efficient world: NTPC Painting Competitions Successful
Covid disruption could hardly dampen the spirit enthusiastic children as they participated in large numbers at State Level Painting Competitionand paint their vision of an energy-efficient world. The programme was conducted in adherence to Covid protocol like using mask, sanitiser and maintaining social distancing, etc. Organised by NTPC-Southern Region Headquarters, being the Nodal Agency for Telangana State, the painting competition is as an initiative of Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
In the first phase, held at NTPC office premises at Kavadiguda, Secunderabad on December 04, 2021, the Painting Competition witnessed participation ofstudents in large numbersfrom Telangana state except Nizamabad, Adilabad and Nirmal Districts.The aesthetic paintings not only depicted children’s creativity but also their vision on energy conservation. Befitting the occasion, NTPC Officials presented LED Bulb and Certificate to all the participants.
The Topics for State Level Painting are: 1. Energy Efficient India, and 2. Cleaner Plant. The State Level Top 13 Winners in each group: Group-A (Class 5, 6 & 7) and Group-B (Class 8, 9 & 10) will be awarded in second week of December 2021. Further, the state level winners’ paintings will be forwarded to Delhi for consideration at National Level Awards.
The last phase of State level painting competition will be held on December 06, 2021at Navya Bharathi Global School, Armoor Road, Nizamabad wherein students of Nizamabad, Adilabad and Nirmal Districts can participate.
