NTPC Simhadri organizes a painting competition on “Energy Efficient India”

The school students showcased their talent and creativity through painting the plain canvas. A painting competition was organized at VIJAYAWADA on 06.12.2021 as a part of BEE State level Painting here on Monday wherein the school students of the Vijayawada city and nearby districts enthusiastically participated. NTPC Simhadri is Notably, the competition was organized  by NTPC Simhadri , being the Nodal Agency for Andhra Pradesh as an initiative of the Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency.  NTPC.

The first phase was held at EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT RAJAVOMMANGI ZPHS School on 01.12.2021 wherein 175 students participated. The students were given a topic ‘Energy Efficient India  & Cleaner plant on which they enthusiastically painted their perceptions over the canvas.

As many 200 students from various schools of the city were present during the competition. The competition was divided into two categories. The A  category included participants from 5th to class 7th, the second category included students from class 8 to 10. The participants actively participated in the competition and were wondrously showcased. Amazingly, the enthusiasm among the participants was worth watching.

Students touched many aspects related to Energy t in their paintings like saving trees, green buildings, green cities, and global warming. The children wonderfully depicted the dangers of harming the planet and also the uniqueness of the planet was showcased through the variations of colors.

It was amazing to watch how little artists creatively portrayed such issues wondrously. The competition was like an extravagance for the little painters and the spectators as well, as they have used their brilliance of painting blended with the perceptions displayed on the painting sheet. Further, the way the little artists displayed the uniqueness and beauty of a green world was commendable.

The State level top 13 winners in each group (group A 5,6,7) and Group B (Class 8 , 9& 10) will be awarded on 10.12.2021 at NTPC PARAWADA, Visakhapatanam District. Further, the State level winners in the above competition will be sent to Delhi for consideration at National Level Awards.

The last phase of the State Level painting competition will be held on 07.12.201 at SAMYUKTA FUNCTION hall NTPC DEEPANJALINAGAR, PARWADA- VISAKHAPATNAM wherein students of Visakhapatnam and nearby districts can participate.

The above program was organized by adhering to COVID norms like, Hall was sanitized properly, students participated with masks, proper sanitizers were also arranged, and social distance was maintained.
