AP: 10 sworn in as members of the Legislative Council
Another legislator who will be sworn in soon
Of the 11 newly elected members to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, 10 were sworn in on Wednesday and another member will be sworn in soon.
Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council President Koyye Moshenu Raju was sworn in along with eight members at a public function at the Amravati Assembly premises on Wednesday.
Two other members arrived late and were sworn in by the President in his chambers in the Legislative Council.
Newly elected members of the Legislative Council are Ellareddygiri Sivaramireddy of Anantapur local body, Dr. Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu of Guntur local body, Murugudu Hanumantrao, Indukuri Ragharaju of Vijayanagaram local body, Varudu Kalyani of Visakhapatnam local body, Srinivasa Rao of Chennuboina (Vamshikrishnayadav) of Chittoor local body. Jayendra Bharat and Tumati Madhavarao of Prakasam local bodies were sworn in as members of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council at a public function.

Raghuram Thalashila and Aruna Kumar from Krishna district local bodies were sworn in as members of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council in the Legislative Council Chairperson’s Chamber.
Anantha Satya Udaya Bhaskar (Babu), who was elected as a member of the Legislative Council for East Godavari local bodies, will be sworn in soon.
Ministers of State Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Buggana Rajendranath, Adimulapu Suresh, Shankara Narayana, Mekatoti Sucharitha, Government Public Affairs Adviser Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy and many other members of the Legislative Council, legislators and Assembly Secretary P. Balakrishnamacharya were present on the occasion.
