Assistance to Singareni, State Government in Achieving Blocks
CMOAI Presidential Secretaries Shri Jakkam Ramesh and Shri NV Rajasekhara Rao revealed
Coal Mines Officers Association of India (CMOAI) Singareni Branch President and General Secretary Jakkam has strongly opposed the Central Government’s decision to auction four coal blocks in the Singareni region. Jakkam Ramesh, N. V. Rajasekhar Rao said in a statement on Wednesday.

The auction of four coal blocks under the Singareni company will cost the company crores of rupees spent on exploration so far, the affidavit said. They said the Singareni ownership would fully co-operate on behalf of the CMOAI Singareni branch on all the steps being taken by the state government to get the four blocks out of the auction.
Singareni expressed concern that the survival of the company would be questionable if these four blocks were privatized. “We want the central government to remove the four blocks from the auction and allocate them to Singareni,” he said.
