In West bengal, saliva sample of the lady who came to Kolkata from Britain and found to be COVID positive, has been sent to National Institute of Biomedical Genomics at Kalyani in Nadia district to find out if there is presence of the latest variant Omicron. The report is likely to be available on Monday.

Meanwhile, one more person, returning after attending a function in Bangladesh is found to be COVID positive and has been admitted to Beliaghata ID Hospital last night. His saliva-sample is
being be sent to Kalyani.
