G-7 foreign ministers exchange views on Beijing Winter Olympics amid calls for boycott
Group of Seven industrialized nations’ Foreign Ministers have exchanged their views on the upcoming 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics amid the call to boycott the games.
The G-7 meeting in England is being held as Australia, UK and Canada have joined forces with the United States over a diplomatic boycott of the games citing China’s human rights record. Japanese government is also considering a diplomatic boycott of the Winter Olympics in Beijing and may not send a cabinet minister there.

The United States, the United Kingdom and Canada have already announced a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
