Supreme Court Chief Justice N.V Ramana and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao have inaugurated the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC) near Hyderabad today.
After the opening ceremony, Chief Minister and CJI inspected the arrangements and infrastructure at the centre. The government has allocated lands to the centre which is being operated in a temporary building.
The IAMC was opened to resolve the problems quickly that arose due to the lack of sufficient judges. CJI has said that IAMC will not confine itself in settling commercial disputes but also look into the disputes of ordinary people.
Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao expressed hope that IAMC will bring name and fame to the country and Telangana state in particular.
