Singareni Bhavan: Mr. N. Sridhar Chairman and MD Singareni said that many changes are taking place in coal mining, and in future we have to face challenges from private companies, hence all the employees should get ready to face the new challenges and for the development of Company. The Company will have a bright future for another hundred years if the Singarenians work with focus and discipline. Chairman and MD Sri. N. Sridhar participated in the formation day celebrations at Singareni Bhavan as the chief guest.
Many Government organizations have come up in the last 100 years in the country and have closed down due to losses but Singareni has been growing for the last 13 decades and has been progressing better than many giant government organizations and is attracting everybody’s attention.
Mainly in the last year and a half overcoming the covid obstacles Singareni is going ahead to achieve record production of 68 million tonnes of coal production and 400 million cubic meters over burden removal targets. This financial year Singareni is going to achieve record breaking profits. From the prestigious Naini coal block taken up in Odisha State, 10 million tonnes of coal production is going to be achieved from next financial year.
In the coming days 30 million tonnes of production is going to be achieved from Newpatrapada and Naini coal block in Odisha. If the 10 new mines which are scheduled to start in the coming three years Company would achieve 100 million tonnes of yearly production and the yearly turnover would reach 40 thousand crores.
Good results due to business expansion
Sri. N. Sridhar Chairman and Managing Director said that Singareni Company with more than 100 years of mining experience is taking up business expansion for a bright future. 1200-megawatt thermal power centre taken up under the auspices of the company is standing on the top nationally with efficient working.
Similarly in the 300 megawatts solar power plants, 219 megawatts erection is already complete and production has also started. Erection of the floating solar plant on lower Maneru dam in Karimnagar is also being taken up. Geothermal power production is also being taken up. Set targets are being achieved only because of the focus and hardwork of the workers and he requested that the same zeal continue in future as well.
Work culture in Singareni is outstanding
Sri. N. Sridhar Chairman and Managing Director said that he worked as a Collector in different districts, as the Secretary to the Chief Minister and studied the work culture very closely. He praised that the work ethics and culture of the employees, officials, workers and union leaders of Singareni is outstanding. Facing problems and achieving targets is being done systematically. In the last seven years the work culture seen here will not be there in any other company and because of this the company is achieving profits. Right from the top officials to the lower rank employees have worked with zeal and placed the company at the top.

Musical fest attracted
On the instructions of the General Manager (Co-ordination) Sri. K. Suryanarayana Musical fest was organised. Senior communication official Sri. Ganashankar Pujari and prominent singers participated in the cultural programme, which was attracted many.
Competitions were held by the administrative department for some departments on the occasion of Singareni day. The winners were given awards by the General Manager (co-ordination) Sri. K. Suryanarayana.
