Singareni employees long standing dream of having a medical college in Ramagundam area is being fulfilled. As per the promise made by the Chief Minister Sri. K. Chandrashekar Rao, Singareni Company approved Rs. 500 crores for setting up of Ramagundam medical college. With the special interest shown by the Chairman & MD Sri. N. Sridhar, the board of Directors approved the sanction of Rs. 500 crores on 10th (December 10th). The historical 100th year Annual General Meeting(AGM) held at Kothagudam on December 27th gave their nod. With this medical college and super specialty hospital in Ramagundam is confirmed.
Fully equipped super specialty hospital along with medical college
Two years back the Chief Minister announced in the meeting with Singarenians in Srirampur area that one medical college will be constructed in Ramagundam area and with this the public and workers will have access to super specialty medical services. Recently, at the meeting held with the State Chief Minister.. Singareni Company indicated that Rs. 500 crores be sanctioned for construction of super specialty hospital…Company Chairman & MD took special interest and on 10th of this month (December 10th) he put up the proposal in front of the board of directors and the board approved it.
On Monday (December 27th) the proposal received unanimous approval at the yearly all member meeting. All the medical services available in cities like Hyderabad would be made available at the medical college and super specialty hospital being constructed with the funds from Singareni. With this Singareni workers, retired workers and their families and the public of Peddapalli, Mancherial, Bhupalapalli, Komaram Bheem Asifabad will have access to super specialty medical services.

Singareni Collieries had been helping in development of Telangana area with CSR and DMFT funds… this time to meet the area’s medical needs and to encourage medical education Rs. 500 cores have been allotted for setting up of medical college and super specialty hospital. This is the first time in the 133 year of Singareni’s history, It has been decided that construction of the college and hospital would be completed in two years. With this medical college and hospital, the dream of the local residents and workers will be coming true in the coming two years.

Chandrashekar Rao for approving the medical college and super specialty hospital at Ramagundam. Singareni employees have been requesting for the set up of super specialty medical college and hospital for quite some time and their long standing dream has been fulfilled by the Chief Minister. He expressed his happiness on Singareni being a part of such social service activities.
