Director (Personnel, Finance, P&P) Shri N. Balaram directed that all the departments should work in coordination in resolving the pending court cases and provide timely information to the court regarding the respective cases. He warned that under no circumstances should the court delay the proceedings.
The Director spoke on the subject of pending court cases during a video conference with officials from the Personnel Department, the Estates Department and the Judiciary on Saturday (January 8). He said there are currently around 950 cases pending in the court in Pending across the company.
The concerned Area Personnel Department officials should provide the required information to the Legal Department without any delay. It was suggested that the complete information required for resolving the cases by March this financial year should be sent to the Hyderabad Judiciary through the officials of the Regional Justice Department.

He also asked the estate authorities to take immediate action in cases related to land acquisition of new projects to be undertaken by the company and to coordinate with the district revenue mechanism to move forward.
On this occasion, Mr. G. Surender, GM (Strategic Planning) from Singareni Bhavan, Hyderabad conducted a review on pending cases by area. He said that this year we were aiming to create new records in production, productivity, profits and welfare and all should work towards the goal of bringing cases to zero.
He said the number of cases registered would be reduced by giving counselling explaining the rules and regulations of the company to the employees, especially at the mine level. He said that the cases mainly involved land acquisition; resettlement issues, change of date of birth, dependent and service related issues and details to be submitted to the courts should be prepared area-wise and sent immediately.
