AP: CM Jagan lauded the forest officials for making Andhra Pradesh number one in green cover enhancement
CM YS Jagan hailed Andhra Pradesh for being at the forefront of greenery development in India. CM Jagan congratulated the forest officials and staff for their efforts. India State of Forest Report-2021 is published every two years. He suggested that the same function be continued in the future in terms of greenery enhancement.
IFS officials, led by PCCF N Prateep Kumar, met CM YS Jagan courtesy today at the camp office,Tadepally. They thanked the CM for timely promotions to IFS officers of the 1992, 1997, 2004, 2008 and 2013 batches.
PCCF N Prateep Kumar has praised the performance of its officials and staff in making Andhra Pradesh topped in greenery enhancement. In this conection he briefed Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. CM hailed Andhra Pradesh for being at the forefront of greenery enhancement in the Indian film map.
Andhra Pradesh has recently topped all the states in India in the list released by India State of Forest Report-21, according to the Indian Ministry of Forests.
Indian Forest Minister Bhupender Yadav himself said this as there was an increase in the green cover increase over the 2019 survey report. Andhra Pradesh topped the list, followed by Telangana and Odisha. He also hoped that in the future, his staff would work harder to promote greenery and make Andhra Pradesh number one.
Similarly, All India Tiger Estimation- 2021..22 Progress in Andhra Pradesh was also explained to CM YS Jagan. Tigers are counted every four years across the country.
On the occasion, N Prateep Kumar, Chief Conservation Officer, Forest Department, thanked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving timely promotions to IFS officers.
