Aus Open: Sania Mirza-Rajeev Ram enter quarter-finals of mixed doubles

In Australian Open Tennis Tournament, Sania Mirza-Rajeev Ram entered the quarter-finals of Mixed Doubles with a 7-6(6), 6-4 win over Matwe Middelkoop-Ellen Perez. Sania and Rajeev were broken in the first set but when Middelkoop-Perez were serving for the first set, they broke back and took the first set in the tie-break.  In the second set, they always stayed on top of their opponents and smoothly made it through.

In Men’s singles, Rafael Nadal beats Adrian Mannarino 7-6(14), 6-2, 6-2 to make the quarter-finals of the Australian Open after a battling first set, Nadal cruised through.

In another match, 14th seed Canadian Denis Shapovalov knocks out third seed Alexander Zverev 6-3, 7-6(5), 6-3 to make his first Australian Open quarter-finals.

In Women’s singles, Barbora Krejcikova moves into the quarter-finals with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Victoria Azarenka. Azarenka.
