NTPC-Simhadri celebrates India’s 73rd Republic Day

The India’s 73rd Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervor at all NTPC Simhadri Sadana Kreeda Maidhan today. Shri Diwakar Kaushik, Chief General Manager hoisted the National flag in the presence of senior officials.  The honorable moment was marked with rhythmic platoon performances by the CISF forces beaming with reverence for the nation.

Speaking on the occasion, CGM spoke about the contribution of the freedom fighters towards Nation building. He said power is a crucial component for growth of any economy and NTPC as the largest power utility of India has big responsibility towards powering the Nation.

Simhadri Management also took an opportunity to recognize the high achievers from the employees. A special segment, the Chief General Manager Meritorious Awards were conferred to the best performing employees of the last year from all departments.

The presenters, Chief  General Manager, Shri. Diwakar Kaushik, Chief General Manager, VPG &CPG(3), Shri. B Rama Rao, Shri G C Choukse-GM(O&M), S. Govind Rajan-GGM (CPG-3) HOHR-Smt Ruma De Sharma,  DLC President Mrs Seema Kaushik and Deputy Commander, CISF congratulated all winners and encouraged them to keep achieving higher.

On this great occasions, GMs from Simhadri and CPG-3, HODs, Union and Association representatives were also present .  Cultural programs have been organized through virtual mode. Program was organized with limited members  by adhering strict Covid norms
