Telangana registers 2,484 fresh Covid-19 infections in past 24 hours

Telangana state has registered 2,484 Covid-19 infections during the past 24 hours. Out of them, Thousand 45 positive cases were from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area.

The state health authorities have reported a Covid fatality, taking the overall number of deaths in the state to 4 thousand 86. Currently the state has over 38 active Covid-19 infections.

Apart from Hyderabad, Omicron driven Covid infections are registering a significant increase in other urban centres of the state with authorities reporting 138 cases from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 130 cases in Rangareddy district, 108 from Nalgonda and 107 from Khammam district.
