Singareni: Director Balaram is a persistent activist in plant conservation

The Director (Personnel, Finance), Shri N. Balram Maro embarked on an innovative program. Today, he has planted fruit trees and medicinal plants alone and has played a pivotal role in the green garland maha yajna of more than 12,809 plants alone. The single 205 rose plants surprised everyone again in 40 minutes.
Pink charm for the bungalow area …
Kottagudem Bungalow has a unique location in the Singareni region. Many celebrities have visited this place in the past. However, the Director (Personnel, Finance) Shri N. Balaram wanted to set up a beautiful flower garden in the area.
As part of this, the Forest Department has instructed officials to set up a rose garden in the Bangla area, which is considered to be the most unique of all the flowers. As per his instructions 205 rose seedlings were brought from Singareni Nursery. The director planted them in Bangla area. He hoped that with these plants, the area would become a flower garden and would have a beautiful charm.
Director (Personnel, Finance) Shri N. Balaram recalled on this occasion that he had planted 108 saplings in the Bangla area on June 5, 2019 for the first time since taking over as Singareni Director.
Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrasekhara Rao said that everyone in Singareni should not only plant plants but also protect them and fulfill the aspirations of Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao to enhance greenery in Telangana.
He also said that more than 5 crore saplings have already been planted in the green belt as per the directions of Singareni Chairman and MD Shri N. Sridhar.

Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Bhimla Naik, AGM (Forestry) Shri Vivek Babu, DGM (Forestry) Shri Hari Narayana, Forest Officer Shri Kalyan and others were present on the occasion.

Director Shri Balaram participated in the Mega Green Dew held on 20th July 2019 on the surface mine mound in Srirampur. 1237 plants were planted within an hour to the amazement of all. On the same day, 501 saplings were planted in the green belt at Jaipur STPP. It is a privilege to plant more than 1700 plants in a single day.
They reached another milestone by planting 12,000 saplings by planting saplings at the Mukkoti Vriksharchanam held on July 24 last year in Ramagundam. Of the 205 newly planted seedlings, 12,809 seedlings have been self-planted so far.
Director Mr. Balaram started the plant cultivation in the Miyawaki method popular in Japan on an experimental basis in the Bhupalpally area. The plants he planted are good enough to grow into a small garden.
Recognition with awards for green service ..
The Gramodaya Chamber of Commerce and Technology honored them with the Gramodaya Bandhu Mitra Award in recognition of the services of Director Shri Balaram who strives to inculcate environmental consciousness in all. The Green Challenge, led by Rajya Sabha member Santosh Kumar, presented him with the Vana Mitra Award. Director Mr. Balaram was also honored with the prestigious Neighborhood Hero Award by HDFC, a leading private sector bank, for its selfless service to the betterment of society.
