Telangana: CM KCR participating in the millennium celebrations of Sri Ramanujacharya

Telangana Chief Minister KCR Shri KCR participated in the Sri Ramanuja millennium celebrations at the Sri Sri Tridandy Chinna Jiyar Swami Ashram which started at Muchchinthal near Shamshabad.

The Samata Murthy Center was personally inspected by CM KCR today. Later Chinnajiyar along with Swami oversaw the arrangements for the idolization of Ramanujacharya. KCR again inquired about the details around the 216-foot Samathamurthy statue.

The millennium celebrations of Sri Ramanujacharya are in full swing in the sprawling 40-acre premises of the Chinnajiyar Swami Ashram in Muchhinthal village. The festival started with the launch event on February 2 and will continue till February 14. Similarly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the festivities on the 5th of this month

On the second day, as part of the festivities, Srilaxminarayanayagam was performed. Agnihotram was inaugurated at Yagsala and Sri Lakshmi Narayana Homa was held in 1035 Kundalas. This homa was performed by five thousand Rutviks at a time. The event was attended by Jiyar Swamis, Rutviks and a large number of devotees
