Kerala records 50,821 Covid recoveries, 42,677 fresh cases

Kerala on Thursday reported more Covid-19 recoveries and a decline in positive cases. The State recorded 50,821 recoveries and 42,677 fresh cases including 444 health workers. Test Positivity Rate dipped to 37.24%.

Covid-19 transmission in Ernakulam district continues to be on the rise with seven  thousand 55 fresh cases.

Apart from 29 Covid fatalities, health authorities also registered 441 deaths that are certified as Covid-19 deaths based on revised guidelines.

Kerala’s active cases have slightly come down to three lakh 69 thousand 73.
