Telangana: Forest clearance proposals should be resolved in advance stage: Special CS A Shanti Kumari orders officers
Review on Forest and Wildlife clearances
The Special Chief Secretary, (Forest Dept) A. Santi Kumari has conducted a review meeting with Forest and R & B Dept officers today on forest and wildlife clearances pertaining to 181 roads of MoRTH, LWE, R&B(NH), R&B etc.
The Spl.CS. has informed the procedure prescribed for obtaining the forest and wildlife clearances. She has requested all the officials that for the proposals at advanced stage the shortcomings shall be attended to immediately such that majority of the priority projects can be forwarded to IRO, Hyderabad in a full shape, as the budget allocated to the State may be lapsed, if the projects are not completed in a time-bound manner.
PCCF (HoFF) R. Sobha has informed that some of the proposals are pending for want RoFR certificate and identification of non-forest CA land, furnishing of proposals in WL format wherever applicable. If these are furnished, same will eb processed immediately and forwarded to Government.

Further, payments are pending for certain proposals and mutation & transfer of CA lands are pending, if these are attended and compliance report furnished same will be forwarded to Government for according final approval. Further, in case of repairs and maintenance of roads and making the kutcha to pucca roads constructed prior to 1980, the detailed procedure need not be followed.
The projects are reviewed in detail and decided that proposals to be processed by 15.02.2022 and forwarded to IRO, Hyderabad. It is also decided to convene a coordination meeting virtually on 07.02.2022 at 2:30 pm with CF/ DFO/ FDO alongwith concerned User Agencies to finalise the priority proposals for onward submission to Government by 15.02. 2022.
