Manipur Assembly election: CM Biren Singh files nomination from Heingang constituency

Around 20 candidates including Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh filed their nomination papers for the first phase of assembly elections in the Manipur on Saturday. Among them, some candidates have submitted their nomination papers for the second time.

The General Election to Manipur Legislative Assembly will be held in two phases and filing of nomination papers is going on for both phases.

The last date of submission of nomination papers for the first phase is 8th February while the last date for the second phase would be 11th February.

The voting will be conducted on 27th February and 3 March. Counting of votes will be held on 10th March.
