In Women’s Cricket, New Zealand beat India by 18 runs in the one-off T20I at Queenstown. Earlier, India’s Captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to bowl, Kiwis amassed a formidable score of 155 for 5 in 20 overs. For India Pooja Vastrakar bagged two crucial wickets.
In reply India only managed to score 137 for the loss of 8 in the stipulated overs. Lea Tahuhu was declared Player of the Match for her all round performance. The two teams now head for a five-match ODI series starting on 12th February
