Special CBI Court in Ranchi to pronounce its judgement in fodder scam case involving RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav is on his way to reach Special CBI court from the State Guesthouse in Ranchi for the final judgement of the last case of Fodder Scam.
A special CBI court in Ranchi will pronounce its judgement in the 26-year long Fodder Scam case involving RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and 99 other accused. Court has ordered to appear physically in the court of Special CBI Judge SK Shashi in the last case related to the illegal withdrawal of over 139.35 crore rupees from Doranda Treasury in Jharkhand.
Lalu Prasad has been convicted in four out of five cases related to the multi-crore fodder scam. Fodder scam happened during Lalu Yadav’s tenure as the Chief Minister of Bihar before the formation of Jharkhand.


Lalu has already got bail from the Jharkhand High Court in the two Chaibasa cases, the fodder scam involving Deoghar and Dumka. The verdict in the biggest Doranda Treasury case of fodder scam will come today.
CBI has recorded statements of over 565 witnesses over a period of 15 years in Fodder Scam. Meanwhile CBI has been unable to find 6 accused till date, and 55 accused have died during this period.
