Andhra Pradesh has abundant scope for tourism: Minister Srinivasa Rao

Tourism Review Meeting Chaired by Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao,  Hon’ble Minister for Culture Tourism and Youth Advancement on yesterday at AP Secretariat, Velagapudi

“Try different mechanisms to attract Investors and organise investor meet  soon , this will provide an opportunity to interact  with investors across the segments, which will give filip to Tourism Sector in Andhra Pradesh” instructed Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Culture Tourism and Youth Advancement during the tourism review meeting held yesterday  at Hon’ble Minister’s chamber at AP Secretariat Velagapudi.

He said, last year we had investors meet at vizag, which had good positive response. The Tourism Department has New Tourism policy 2020-25 , which is an investor friendly policy and the state has received Best Tourism Policy Award in recent times. Investors Meet is an important mega event for Tourism.
Further speaking during the meeting, he instructed to prioritise tourism PPP projects, development works to be taken up immediately, Tourism land alienation work with the help of District Collector to be finalized soon. Andhra Pradesh has abundant scope for tourism. Water Sports activities at boating points may be increased at  potential tourism locations through PPP mode.

Hon’ble Minister Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao discussed other pending issued and instructed to resolve immediately to tourism officers.

Dr Rajat Bhargava, Spl Chief Secretary to Government, YAT&C Department , Dr A Varaprasad Reddy, Chairman APTDC and other senior tourism officers were present during the meeting……
