NTPC Simhadri organizes its second CSR Stakeholder meet successfully
NTPC Simhadri organized its second CSR Stakeholder meet for the FY 2021-22 on 07.03.2022. In this meet different ongoing and planned Community Developmental Activities undertaken during 2021-22 by NTPC CSR were presented.
The meeting was chaired by Shri Diwakar Kaushik, Chief General Manager, NTPC Simhadri in presence of Shri G.C. Choukse- GM O&M, Smt. Ruma De Sharma- AGM HR, Shri AK Das Mohapatra-CMO, Shri SS Rao- AGM- EMG, CSR team members- Shri K Hanuman PRasad, K Prakasa Rao, C.H. Rangarao and Charu Pathak.
The meeting was attended by around 60 stakeholders including Sarpanches of representing nearby villages, Panchayat Secretaries, Government Officials from PRI and RWS&S Deptts, Medical Officers of Parawada, Devada & Vadacheepurupalli, Mandal Officers, HMs of ZP High Schools of Parawada & Principals of Jr. College, Parawada & Thanam.


During the meeting, the progress of various ongoing CSR projects and their impact was shared with the stakeholders and their feedbacks and requests were deliberated upon in the participative forum.
Addressing the CSR stakeholders, Sri Diwakar Kaushik, Chief General Manager, NTPC Simhadri informed that wherever NTPC establishes its projects, they are committed to the development of nearby society and its people and with the same spirit.
He assured, that NTPC Simhadri also committed to develop its nearby villages and society focussing on upskilling of community and creation of assets like roads, infrastructure development, safe drinking water, medical services etc., thereby bringing improvement in the standards of living of nearby communities.
