IWD-2022: Vizag zoo organizes a free health check-up camp in association with care hospitals successfully

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, 2022, Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam organized a free health check-up camp in association with care hospitals, Visakhapatnam, said Dr. Nandani Salaria, IFS, Curator,IGZP.

The medical examinations were conducted free of charge for all the female visitors to the zoo along with the female staff of the zoo.

BP, Sugar tests, Dental tests, Dietician services provided, the curator said. Female visitors to the zoo made use of the facility and more than 100 visitors underwent medical examinations, she said. The medical examinations started at 10 am and continued till 5 pm.

Dr. Nandani Salaria, IFS, Curator, IGZP thanked the staff and management of Care Hospitals for organizing this health check-up in view of women’s health. A special photo booth set up at Bioscope with the theme of Women’s Day attracted the visitors.
