MSME sector will help in making a truly Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Narayan Rane
Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises MSME Narayan Rane has said that Narendra Modi Government is committed to support the MSMEs through friendly policies, bringing in the latest technologies, setting up training centers and providing credits.
Addressing the 8th MSME Excellence Awards and Summit 2022 organised by ASSOCHAM in New Delhi, Mr Rane said, the MSME sector will help in making a truly Aatmanirbhar Bharat. He promised to provide all the credits required to make the MSMEs grow. The Minister said, various training centers have been set up to help the MSME sector.
In his address, Minister of State for MSME Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma congratulated all the awardees. He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ensured that the industries don’t get shut down during the pandemic and the production is uninterrupted by launching various schemes like the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme(ECLGS).


Mr Verma said, the MSME sector contributes around 30 per cent to India’s GDP. He said, India can truly be Aatmanirbhar only through the Make In India initiative and by reducing imports.
Addressing the gathering MSME Secretary B B Swain said, Indian MSMEs are capable of being global. He said, the pandemic has affected MSME sector in various ways. Mr Swain said, Budget 2022 will ease out the situation and is expected to have a far-reaching impact. Tweeted by @AIR
