Andhra Pradesh: Newly carved 13 districts to function as separate districts from Ugadi
In Andhra Pradesh, the newly carved 13 districts will function as separate districts from Ugadi, on the 2nd of April. The work is underway regarding infrastructure arrangements to house the new Collectorate, revenue divisional offices, and other administrative offices.
The final notification on the formation of 13 new districts is likely to be released next week.
Andhra Pradesh Governor, Biswa Bhusan Harichandan had announced about the additional districts during his Republic Day address.
The total number of Districts in the State will now go up to 26.
