Department of Mechanical Engineering, GITAM School of Technology, organized a one-day workshop on “Two-Wheeler Fault Diagnosis and Fuel Efficiency”, for B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering II, III and IV Year students on 17th March 2022.
Prof. V.K.Mittal, Director-Engineering, explained the importance of the hands-on workshop for engineering enthusiasts. He advised to undergo each skill experience with remembrance, understanding and application with special emphasis on attitude of enquiry to know why and how for the various instructions and practices imparted to them. Senior students explained the basics of Internal Combustion Engines, Assembly and Dis-assembly of four stroke engine and Diagnosing & troubleshooting on their own vehicles. The students got real hand experience and learnt the basics knowledge.
Earlier, the workshop was initiated with a welcome speech by Dr. P.Srinivas, Head – Department of Mechanical Engineering. He encouraged and motivated the students and shared his valuable thoughts in this regard.
Prof. P.Eshwaraiah, Program Coordinators P.Anil Kumar Reddy & J.Ramesh and other faculty also participated in the one-day workshop. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants.

The modern cafeteria ‘Cafe Connections’ has inaugurated on 17 March 2022, which provides hygienic & wholesome food, snacks, ice creams and beverages for the students.
The Cafeteria is not just a cool hangout for a daily dose of unleaded fuel, but also an effective way to learn informally.
