Rajastan: Bhupender Yadav visits Sariska Tiger Reserve along with senior officials today
Union Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav today visited the Sariska Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan. He directly monitored Tiger reserve conditions. The development of the Tiger Reserve was discussed on the spot with the department’s superiors.
Expediting eco-sensitive zone notification, development of habitat and grassland, promoting ecotourism, community participation and augmenting tiger population were some of the important issues discussed. Appropriate directions were issued on the action to be taken.
Sariska Tiger Reserve is a tiger reserve in Alwar district, Rajasthan, India. It stretches over an area of 881 km² (340 sq mi) comprising scrub-thorn arid forests, dry deciduous forests, grasslands, and rocky hills. This area was a hunting preserve of the Alwar state and was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1958.


Sariska tiger reserve, as the reserve is full of wild animals like Tigers, Leopards, Striped Hyena, deers, crocodiles, etc. Besides that, it is a beautiful forest surrounded by Aravali.
