25 MW floating solar power generated by NTPC Simhadri successfully connected to grid: CGM-Diwakar Kaushik
NTPC Simhadri: CGM Mr. Diwakar Kaushik is happy to announce that the 25 MW Floating Solar Power generated by NTPC Simhadri in stages has been successfully connected to the grid. In the same way the green hydrogen-based energy storage project, set up in collaboration with M/s Bloom Energy India Pvt Ltd- Bangalore, is India’s first and largest in the world.
As a part of MOU, NTPC Simhadri organized media meet was held at Hotel Daspalla, Visakhapatnam today.

Despite of Severe COVID-19 pandemic in India & AP, the floating Solar Project of NTPC Simhadri , successfully completed the 10MW and connected to Southern grid on 29.06.2021 and declared commercial w.e.f from 12:00Hrs of 30.06.2021 and balance 15 MW was successfully connected to grid on 21.08.2021.
