BJP leader N. Biren Singh to take oath as CM of Manipur for second term today

In Manipur, the BJP leader and former Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh will take oath as the Chief Minister of Manipur for the second term a few minutes later.

The party national senior leader and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced yesterday that Shri Biren will be leader of Legislature Party for the newly elected BJP MLAs in Manipur and will hold the post of Chief Minister for the second time.

BJP got 32 seats out of the 60 seats Manipur Legislative Assembly in the recently concluded State General Elections.
