Telangana: Three phase power facility to remote tribal villages should be completed within a month in order of priority: Special CS Shanthi Kumari

Government priority, as per Chief Minister KCR directives “We are working hard to provide electricity to every tribal and tribal village,” he said. Said Shanthi Kumari. Electricity facility to remote villages, pending works were reviewed through video conference with the concerned District Collectors, Electricity, Tribal Welfare and Forest Department officials.
A total of more than 3,000 identified villages are already being provided three-phase electricity, power department officials said. The remaining 239 villages will be completed within a month and electricity will be provided.
By district, 46 villages in Adilabad, 98 in Komaram Bhim Asifabad, 26 in Manchiryala, 42 in Nirmal and 27 in Bhadradri Kottagudem are yet to be electrified, power department officials said.
District-wise issues, forest permits and delay prevention were discussed at the review meeting.
We are working hard to expedite the issuance of forest permits, However delays can be avoided if the required documentation is completed in a proper manner PCCF R.M. Dobrial said.
Dr. Christina Chongtu, Secretary, Department of Tribal Welfare, said that the creation of infrastructure for tribal villages was a priority of the government and the concerned departments should work hard to provide full power facility with full cooperation.
Adilabad, Komaram Bhim Asifabad, Manchiryala, Nirmal, Bhadradri Kottagudem District Collectors, Additional PCCF AK Sinha, Forest Department Chief Conservators, Power Department (NPDCL) CMD Gopal Rao, NPDCL & SPDCL, CPDCL Directors, District Forest Department officials, Electricity and Tribal Welfare Department officials were present.
