FIH Women’s Junior World Cup: Indian hockey team defeat Malaysia
Indian Women’s hockey team defeated Malaysia 4-0 in their last Pool D match of the FIH Women’s Junior World Cup at Potchefstroom, South Africa yesterday.
That’s the end of the group stage for India, who win all three matches and confirm a spot against South Korea in the quarterfinal.
The 4-0 win over Malaysia had a brace from Mumtaz Khan, on either side of goals from Sangita Kumari and Lalrindiki. Earlier, India outplayed Germany 2-1 and in their first pool D match on Saturday,

India defeated Wales 5-1. The Indians are currently atop Pool D with three wins from as many games. The quarterfinals round will start on Friday.
