Kerala: Huge quantity of rotten and chemical-laced fish seized
In Kerala, huge quantity of rotten and chemical-laced fish has been seized in a massive drive undertaken by the State Government.
The Food Safety Department captured over one thousand 700 kilograms of stale fish from major check posts, harbours and fish markets across the State.

The drive was held using rapid test kits developed by the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology. Notices were served to 53 people in this connection. A Health Department release said, the drive would be intensified in coming days.
