KSRTC 24-hr strike begins, disrupts public bus services in Kerala
In Kerala, the 24-hour strike by a section of employees of the State Road Transport Corporation against non-disbursal of salary has affected normal bus services across the state. In most parts, very few buses were seen plying.
Meanwhile, the State Government has declared dies-non to counter the strike. The opposition-backed trade unions resorted to the round-the-clock strike from last midnight after their talks with Transport Minister Antony Raju Minister failed.
The Minister said, the strike would only deepen the crisis in the State-run Transport Corporation which is facing growing financial crunch.
