The GITAM Deemed-to-be University has awarded Ph.D. in Management to Venu Kasireddy for his thesis ‘Operational performance of nationalized banks in India – A case study of Bank of Baroda’ submitted under the guidance of Prof. A.Sree Ram, Research Supervisor, GITAM School of Business (GSB), Hyderabad.
The major research findings are: most of the bank employees have considerably impacted the increasing reach of banking services to the customers; the business per employee has been increasing which indicates the higher efficiency; the earning per share is better than bank interest rate and the BoB is earning a good return on advances.
Prof. D.S.Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor, GITAM, Hyderabad, DVVSR Varma, Resident Director, Prof. B.Karunakar, Director, GSBH and Convener, Viva-voce Committee, and Heads of various departments and faculty appreciated Venu on his achievement.
