Andhra Pradesh: Atmakur by-election polling ended peacefully

Polling for the Atmakuru by-election in Andhra Pradesh ended peacefully. As of this afternoon, almost 44.14 per cent voting was recorded. Full details are yet to come.

The by-election was inevitable in February with the death of YSSR Congress party sitting MLA and former minister Mekapati Gautam.

A total number of 279 Polling Booths and as many as 1,300 personnel are kept on duty for the Bye-Elections.
