EPFO launches Aadhaar-based e-nomination service for EPF subscribers
Employee’s Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched Aadhaar-based e-nomination service for EPF subscribers which will do away with the need for physical submission of forms. This facility can be availed by EPF Members if their mobile number is linked with UAN and the Aadhaar verification is also complete.
It is mandatory to file e-nomination by the members of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in order to receive welfare benefits viz., Provident Fund (PF), Pension (EPS), and insurance (EDLI) benefits, by their families/next of kin by submitting online claims in case of member’s death by his or her family.

For filing e-nomination, members of EPFO need to visit UAN Member Portal and login with UAN and Password. Members need to select “E-nomination” under “Manage” tab and provide their details by adding family details with amount of share. Once E-sign is done by submitting OTP sent to the mobile linked with Aadhar, the e-nomination is registered with EPFO.
Therefore, it is appealed to all the EPF Members to file e-nomination and the Employers to provide necessary support to their employees in completing the e-nomination process at the earliest.
