Telangana Floods: Immediate measures to prevent outbreak of infections due to Godavari floods: Health Minister Harish Rao directs officials
As part of public health care, Minister of Health and Medical Affairs Shri Harish Rao is conducting a review meeting with the doctors and senior officials of the clinics in Godavari flood affected areas as per the directives of CM Shri KCR to prevent epidemics due to floods.
As per the instructions of the Chief Minister Shri KCR, the Minister of Health Shri Harish Rao conducted a review with the officials and doctors of the District Medical and Health Department of the flood affected and inundated areas. Secretary of Medical Health Department Mr. S. A. M. Rizvi was present in this program.
The Minister has issued several orders to the concerned authorities on measures to be taken on a war footing to prevent the spread of infections in the flood and inundated Godavari catchment areas. They want to set up health camps in flooded villages.

The doctors were requested not to take leave, but to attend duty and participate in the health camps organized in the respective villages. The officials were directed to make the necessary medicines available to the people and supply them
To this extent, the Minister directed Public Health Director Mr. Srinivasa Rao as Kothagudem Center and Medical Education Director Mr. Ramesh Reddy as Manchiryala Center to participate in health camps and other public health care programs and coordinate with the authorities.
