Hyderabad: GITAM to honour Shantha Sinha and Ampashayya Naveen
CCMB Director will be the Chief Guest
GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad will honour Prof. Shantha Sinha, Indian Anti-Child Labour Activist, and Ampashayya Naveen, Renowned Telugu Novelist during its 13th Convocation slated for 30th July 2022. The Degree of Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) would be conferred on the duo.
Dr. Vinay K Nandicoori, Director, Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB) Hyderabad will be the Chief Guest on this occasion and will deliver the Convocation Address.
Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan, Hon’ble Chancellor, GITAM will preside over the function and M.Sri Bharat, President, GITAM will grace the occasion.
1,346 students are eligible to take the degrees, including BA, MA, BBA, B.Com., MBA, B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Tech., M.Tech. and B.Pharm.
