Union Minister for Forest, Environment and climate change and Labour and Employment Bhupendra Yadav is arriving at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh today. Mr. Yadav will review the preparations for the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on September 17.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and several state ministers will also be present on the occasion.
Union Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav will also finalize the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit in a meeting with the top officials of the state government today.
Mr. Yadav will interact with young scientists of the Wild Life Institute of India. He will also meet cheetah Mitra, students of National Museum of Natural Heritage and front-line workers.
As per the official information, on his birthday on September 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the relocation program of cheetahs brought from Namibia at Kuno National Park in Sheopur district of MP.
Eight cheetahs, including five males and three females, are being primarily resettled in the Kuno National Park under this important project.
