Telangana: 8 people dead after fire in electric bike showroom in Secunderabad

The number of deaths in the Secunderabad fire accident has gone up to eight. Two more persons have succumbed to injuries.

Hyderabad deputy Police Commissioner, North Zone Chandana Deepthi told our correspondent that six bodies have been identified and two more are yet to be identified.

The incident occurred on September 12, following an outbreak of fire in a showroom of an electrical vehicle bike and spread upstairs, where Hotel Ruby is located. At least 25 guests were in the hotel at the time of the incident.

About a dozen people are admitted to nearby hospitals. Police have filed a case against the building owner.
