Solid, liquid and plastic waste management offers huge opportunities for startups: Hardeep Puri
Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Puri has reiterated the Government’s commitment to providing all the necessary support to the start-ups involved in finding unique solutions for cleanliness.
While interacting with the startups shortlisted under the Swachhata Start-Up challenge today, the Minister said, solid, liquid, and plastic waste management provides huge opportunities for Startups for innovation.
The Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry will felicitate 30 startups in New Delhi tomorrow. Swachhata Startup Challenge initiative was launched in January this year to promote an enabling environment for startups and entrepreneurs in the waste management sector.
The top 10 solutions will be declared winners of the Challenge. The solutions devised by the Startups will be provided with the financial support of 25 lakh rupees and one year of incubation support.
